1988 – SCO endorses Unix trademark.

1990 – AT&T’s USL, Intel, and SCO open way for binary specification in 386/486 open system market.

1992 – SCO announces connectivity pact with Novell.

1995 – SCO acquires Unix business from Novell.

1996 – Novell SCO Amendment to Asset Purchase Agreement (APA).

2001 – Caldera Systems acquires two SCO divisions: Server Software and Professional Services.

2002 – Caldera to Change Name to The SCO Group.

2003 – The SCO Group name change is approved by shareholders.
